We, KVT-Fastening GmbH, 4030 Pichling/Linz, Im Südpark 185, Austriaare proprietors of the web-site available under kvt-fastening.at and the linked online shop under shop.kvt-fastening.at. We are thus responsible for recording, processing and using your personal data  within the meaning of the Data Protection Act when you visit our site.

Personal data are individual details concerning your personal or material circumstances, such as your name, your e-mail address and your postal address and sundry other information relating to your person and identity.

We make use of your personal details only within the limits permitted by current data protection legislation. We describe below which of your personal details are recorded and stored. In addition, we give you information on how your data are used, and what are your rights in respect of the use of your data.

 

I. Recording and storage of personal details and the type and purpose of use to which they are put

1. On visiting our web-site

When you visit our web-site, our servers temporarily store every access in a protocol file. Without any action on your part, the following data can be recorded and stored by us for a maximum of 30 days before they are automatically deleted:

Our web-site has a comprehensive selection of documented expertise on fastening technology available for you to download. Downloading this information also requires registration in advance. In the course of registration for the Download Centre, the following data is recorded:

  • password 

This data is recorded in order as far as possible to prevent misuse and to send you further information and our newsletter by e-mail – provided you have specifically requested this (see paragraph 4). Apart from this, we may use the data to contact you personally.
